The Invisible Hand is the economics club of PPSIJC. Our vision is to create a community of curious economists and bridge the worlds of entertainment and education through fun-filled in-school activities, comprehensive blogs and an Instagram page with interactive content.

What is The Invisible Hand?
In theory, “invisible hand” is a term coined by the political economist, Adam Smith to describe the unintended benefits of individual actions to society. Wherein, an individual making decisions out of self-interest, such as profit- motive, could collectively contribute to an effective economic system that is in public interest.

What is The Invisible Hand to us?
To our student community, The Invisible Hand is representative of our aim to work in self and public interest. We aim to connect theoretical economics to the real world in a way that helps us gain skills to learn and grow while also increasing awareness amongst our peers.
